Julie Garcia made choices, now the people of Essex County can make a choice.
Julie's ADA Ellen Schell is one of them. All quotes from Ms. Schell's document here.
Ellen Schell, ADA prosecuted DV and rape cases for Ms. Garcia and and says, "The
courts in Essex County are not particularly friendly for victims of
domestic violence and sexual assault, or for those prosecuting such
cases, as I found out early and often." Note
to Julie and Ellen: the people don't buy into your "Duluth Model"
man- bad; women -good thinking and your DV frauds.
Ellen Schell discovered she had a: "reputation
as an “f***ing b***h,” a title I apparently had unknowingly
earned. I, of course, didn’t hear that until I was ready to
leave, when one of the court officers asked my young colleague who was
taking over IDV Court if she was the new “fb” in town." Note to Julie: the people want an ADA who is honest and not a Nifong-ette. http://ancpr.com/2007/10/26/gitmo-at-home-domestic-violence-courts-in-america/
Ellen Schell, "I was also going to do the Violence Against Women grant writing and reporting." Note
to Julie: Was the scent of the $4 billion in grant money so strong as
to abandon decency and honesty and try to create cases and have more money to divide up at the DA's office?.
Is Julie Garcia cashing in with the money and the lies?
Ellen Schell wasn't, "successful in prosecuting DV
and Sexual Assault cases, and each one we lost felt like a personal
defeat for me.". Note to Julie: Was the scent of the four billion dollars so strong that you prosecuted cases which you knew were bogus?
Ellen Schell seems ignorant of the law when she says,"it
is an A misdemeanor (Petit Larceny), punishable by up to a year in the
county jail, to steal a piece of pizza or a bottle of soda, but it is
only a violation (Harassment 2nd), punishable by up to 15 days in jail,
to punch someone, as long as you don’t cause impairment of
physical condition or substantial pain." Note to Julie: You know about law copied below , why doesn't your ADA ?
§ 120.00 Assault in the third degree.
A person is guilty of assault in the third degree when:
1. With intent to cause physical injury to another person, he causes
such injury to such person or to a third person; or
2. He recklessly causes physical injury to another person; or
Assault in the third degree is a class A misdemeanor
Julie, Is Ellen Schell's domestic partner and GLBT, the reason you would not prosecute Bob Andrews? Also
Veterans Note: Ellen
Schell moves on in Albany to persecute returning veterans and continue
her career as a NOW (National Organization of Women) type
feminist. Her new project will overwhelm with lawyers the
returning veterans. Ms. Schell knows their spouses are " faced
with abuse and control by the returning veteran, whose behavior
may well have been exacerbated by their horrific experiences in
Iraq and Afghanistan." http://www.legalproject.org/military.html
Bad choices, Julie. Is the new ADA, the same or worse?
